Risk managers like Dennis Webb at BC Tel believe that companies owning facilities which could potentially pose a risk to the public must operate to best protect the public's interests. One step buried facility owners and operators can take to better protect both their company's assets and public safety is to belong to BC ONE CALL. That "due diligence" is one reason the City of Kelowna joined BC ONE CALL, but according to Rod Carle, Electrical Utilities Manager, an equally important reason was that BC ONE CALL provides a valuable customer service.
